How to Optimize Our TARA Analysis Work

Webinar 2022/12/2 8:30pm Beijing Time(UTC/GMT +8:00)

In the actual TARA analysis of vehicles and components according to the description of TARA in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434, obstacles will still arise in each analysis step due to the influence of analyst’s capabilities, analysis tool chains and other factors, such as difficulties in intra-organizational and cross-organizational collaboration, high communication costs, analysts are susceptible to subjective factors when evaluating the impact and feasibility of attacks, lack of quantifiable evaluation criteria, models and evaluation results only stay at the conceptual design stage, failure to update and reassess in the face of evolving threats and vulnerabilities, and failure to apply TARA results throughout the product lifecycle to improve threat response agility. In order to provide practical suggestions for optimizing TARA analysis, this webinar invited experts from OEMs, suppliers, security consulting firms, and security analysis tool chain designers to discuss cross-organization, cross-tool chain collaboration, data inheritance and reuse, the influence of human factors, and the challenges and countermeasures in the cybersecurity practice of automotive OEMs in the process of TARA analysis.
